Dane Baruzzini has been named the LCAHL 2017 Birthyear (Squirt A) Director, bringing a deep well of experience, leadership, and passion for youth hockey to the role.

Dane previously served as a Division Director for the 2005 age group and currently holds the position of Director of Early Development at Little Caesars Farmington Hills. His hockey background also includes time as a former USA Hockey and MHSAA referee, giving him a well-rounded perspective on the game from multiple vantage points.

With more than 20 years of coaching experience, Dane has coached at nearly every level of hockey, including ACHA Collegiate Varsity, MHSAA High School Varsity, AAA, and AA/A programs. His approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, age-appropriate development, and fostering a positive, competitive environment for young athletes.

Dane is married and the proud father of three children; two who are actively playing hockey and a third preparing to begin, further reinforcing his commitment to youth hockey.
